Question: You are surrounded by a 100 foot wide and 100 foot deep moat. You have a 40 foot tall ladder, matches, a gallon of water, and as much rope as you need.

How can you get across the moat?

I question whether the moat is even filled. If it is why not just swim? Would take less time than filling the whole thing with rope and presumably the person who built the moat would notice you either way, so what does it matter?
