You know the left road is the correct road. Since you can not turn around you must know you are always going to take the wrong road because you must get to New York City and have to keep going on whichever road you took. That gives you a 0% chance of taking the correct road given that their is no way for you to know wich road to take and you can't turn around, so the roads must connect somewhere and make a loop I order for you to be able to take the correct road, but if the two roads loop you will never get to New York City because you would end up where you started. Therefor neither of the roads is the correct road.
