Question: Tom wants to send Sally an expensive ring through the mail because they live thousands of miles apart. The only problem is that everything sent through the mail is stolen unless there is a lock put on it. Both Tom and Sally have plenty of locks and keys but they don't have any of the same locks or keys.
How can Tom send Sally the ring without it getting stolen?
Answer: Tom puts one of his locks on the box with the ring in it. When Sally gets it she puts one of her own locks on the box and sends it back to Tom. Finally Tom takes his lock off of the box and sends it back to Sally who can then unlock her own lock and retrieve the ring.
Question: A semi truck is driving down the highway but the driver isn't paying attention. He goes under an overpass that is too short for his truck by only inches and gets stuck. He thinks it's going to be a very costly mistake but one of his friends happens to pass by and explains to him how he can get out in the matter of minutes without any help.
What does he suggest?
Answer: He suggests that he let air out of his tires to make it short enough to back out of the overpass.
Question: The Duke of Riddleton has been kidnapped. The police have identified 3 suspects, all of which had motive, and opportunity to do the deed. Their names are Andrew, Jason, and Shawn. All of them claim that they didn't do it, but Jason and Shawn seemed nervous wile being questioned. There was a note left behind, with the following description: 1491011. Who kidnapped the duke?
Answer: Jason. The numbers correspond to different months, for example November being 11, and the first letter of each month noted make up the name "Jason."
