Question: Tom wants to send Sally an expensive ring through the mail because they live thousands of miles apart. The only problem is that everything sent through the mail is stolen unless there is a lock put on it. Both Tom and Sally have plenty of locks and keys but they don't have any of the same locks or keys.

How can Tom send Sally the ring without it getting stolen?


Question: Tom and Joe want to sit behind each other in class and the teacher arranges them so they are both happy.

How did the teacher do so?

Question: A thief enters a shop and threatens the clerk, forcing him to open the safe. The clerk says, "The code for the safe is different every day, and if you hurt me you'll never get the code". But the thief manages to guess the code on his own.

How did he do it?

Question: It's hard to give up.Remove part of it and you still have a bit.Remove another part, but bit is still there.Remove another and it remains.What is it?

Question: There is a party of 100 high-powered politicians. All of them are either honest or liars. You walk in knowing two things:

- At least one of them is honest.
- If you take any two politicians, at least one of them is a liar.

From this information, can you know how many are liars and how many are honest?
