Two Stones (medium)

Question: The rich landlord wants to marry the beautiful farmer's daughter. He tells the daughter that if she doesn't marry him, he will evict her father from the farm and they will be homeless. She begs for mercy. Slyly, the landlord agrees to allow her one chance to stay. He pulls a bag from his pocket, and reaches down and picks up 2 stones from the rocky path then places them in the bag. Reach into the bag and pull out one stone. If you pull out the black stone you will agree to marry me. If you pull out the white stone you and your father can live here rent free. The problem is that she knows that he picked up two black stones and no matter which one she selects she will be forced to marry him. What can she do to avoid marrying the greedy landlord?


Question: A woman was reading in the basement when her husband, thinking the basement was empty, turned off the light. The woman continued reading. There were no lamps or flashlights and the light her husband turned off didn't come back on. How was the woman able to read?

Riddle (medium)

Question: Fifty is my first, my second is the third in fourth, and my end is the end of an ending. With a nut I become a nut that isn't, and without one I move.

Question: The sky is blue, the sea is green. The answer never ends in-between.

Question: Imagine that you're in a dark room where there is nothing except a drinking cup. There is a door out of the room but it is locked with 50 locks on the outside. There are guards pointing guns at the door so if you try to escape you will die. How do you get out of the room?
